I'm okay. It doesn't hurt.
[she shows him her finger, which has gone a little red from the heat, but when she brings up her other hand to poke at it, she doesn't so much as wince.]
It surprised me. I thought maybe the flame just wasn't that warm, but I didn't feel it at all.
