[Chuuya lucked out in that his sight isn't degrading quite that fast. It's going, but he's still capable of seeing and reading with a bit of effort. He's a squinty-eyed prick for most of Monday and Tuesday, getting far too close to people for conversations with them.
Interestingly, he's actually looking around the library on these days. He's trying to find something entertaining to read and he seems to have wandered into the section on instruments. He seems to be studying an informational text on how various string instruments are played and maintained. Probably an unusual choice for a teenager, but given his focus on the chapter about guitars, maybe not so much.]
2 - Wednesday/Thursday
[Later in the week his sight is mostly gone. It's all just to blurry to see anything. Light differences he can pick up, as well as vague movements. But actual details, even something like a person's face or general body shape? That's too much, even up close. It's left him feeling both bored and more than a little worried. Nothing like this has ever happened to him before. Just what is going on?
Those thoughts plague Chuuya as he lays on the floor of the ballroom, staring up at one of the chandeliers. The light refracting off of the glass produces some interesting contrast with the shadows above the chandelier itself, which is about the extent of what he can see. Fortunately his hearing is as strong as ever, and he speaks up when he hears someone walking close.]
Walk around a little bit without talking, I wanna try something.
[Yes, he's trying to figure out who people are by their footsteps alone. He figures everything will be dark eventually, so he wants to be prepared for that.]
