WELCOME

Even from behind your eyelids, the soft glowing light can be seen as you find yourself awakening. The slow swell of strings begins, and as you struggle to open your eyes, the sound of footsteps pass you by. You soon hear three feminine voices speak in unison.

"Master Blue wishes to welcome you all. We hope you enjoy your stay!"

Light temporarily blinds you as you look around, but the source of the voices has vanished. Whomever has greeted you seems to have disappeared without warning, leaving you all alone.

The music starts up and though no orchestra is present, the song can be heard all throughout the room. Crystal chandeliers hang above your head, and the waxed wooden floor gleams brightly. Floor to ceiling windows cover the back wall and a night sky full of stars twinkle back at you. The wall next to it, however, is covered by a thick crimson curtain. Those who attempt to move it will find they have little luck in their endeavor, but there are more pressing matters at hand.

Looking down you'll come to notice that you're wearing clothes that certainly aren't what you were previously wearing. You, and the guests around you, have been dressed appropriately in formal attire properly fitted for each individual.

Oh. That's right. Didn't we mention the other guests? Seated to your left, right, and across from you at the long banquet table are other people just like you. Perhaps it's a friend you know, though don't be surprised if it's a complete stranger. Each individual holds a blue and silver invitation with their name scrawled upon it, and a message to follow.

"Please respond to Master Blue's invitation at least one week prior to the event to secure your seat and accommodations.

This dinner is guaranteed to be an event to die for."

Strange, isn't it?

But rest assured! Nothing is stopping you from leaving the ballroom and exploring the other rooms of Master Blue's home. After all, you're an honored guest! It's with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that you're welcomed here tonight. Really, what's your hurry? It's not as though the front door will open for you. Don't bother with the windows either. They've all been locked tight to ensure you're all nice and cozy for your stay.

If you look under your seat, you'll find a special gift bag with your name on it. Opening these bags will reveal the following:

-A small spiral notebook
-A crayon in a specific shade of blue
-Three different candles
-A brass key (Design May Vary.)
-This cute toy

A welcome gift from the Master, of course.

Take some time to admire the decor, if you will. The house has been decorated for this special holiday with chains of paper hearts, miniature golden cupid statues, and confetti that rains down from the ceiling on occasion. Perhaps you'll get lucky tonight with love in the air, especially since Cupid's arrow seems to aim for you no matter where you go. For those of you who don't wish to partake in the lavish feast spread out in the ballroom, you're in luck. Boxes of chocolate and bowls of candy hearts can be found for all your snacking needs.

As the unseen orchestra plays on, it seems as though you've no choice but to get to know your fellow guests and make yourselves comfortable. Perhaps if you wait long enough, someone will come to greet you.

Ayabe throws his hat at Chuuya's face. Shut up, brat. ]

Eeh, it doesn't match my outfit.

[He's tossing it back now.]

[ He catches the hat and sets it down on the table. Sets it on the floor, because he doesn't want to look at it. ]

It's not my clothes. I have nothing to do with this--

[ He tugs at the sleeves. Is this lace... ]

This would tear too easily.

Is that really your only complaint about the whole getup?

Not the only one...

[ But it's up there. The stupid hat and the frilly lace are top contenders. When he notices his outfit come with a cape, it'll be up there too. ]

I was about to say, you look like some kind of shitty vampire.

[Hilariously 15-year-old Chuuya can't give the fashion advice that his 22-year-old self might be able to, because this teenager knows jack all about fashion. He can just look at something and go 'wow no' and that's about it.]

[ It's really too bad the outfit doesn't come with the cane so he can whack people with it. All Ayabe can do is click his tongue and scowl, pushing away from the table to stand.

Only stand, though, because he hasn't a clue where to actually go. ]

What a joke. The host has to be around here somewhere. I'm getting my uniform back and going home.

That's not a bad idea, actually.

[Don't mind him, he's going to get up too. And since there's only one way out of the ballroom, he'll just follow after Ayabe for now.]

[ He leaves the ballroom and enters the hall, flanked left and right by a number of doors but at the very end of the hall are large double doors that scream "THIS IS THE WAY OUT"

He makes a beeline right towards it and —rattles the doors. Tries to unlock it and rattles it again. Stupid. Why would doors be locked on the inside? ]

[He'll give Ayabe a chance to mess with the door before sighing and shoving his hands in his pockets.]

Outta the way, wimp.

Be my guest.

[ He moves aside to let Chuuya have at it. Break your leg on the door. Break down the door. He doesn't care. (he cares a little) ]

[Well he won't break his leg because Chuuya actually knows how to fight and how to put power behind his kicks. And he's also going to notice immediately that his powers aren't working, because when he jumps for the door his kick isn't nearly as powerful as it should be, and his foot thuds uselessly against it.

And then he actually stumbles back down and has to pull his hands out of his pockets to balance himself as he hits the ground, because he can't cheat and use gravity-powers to keep himself perfectly balanced.]

What the hell?!

[ Ayabe sighs and extends his hand to help Chuuya up, because this is about what he expected would happen. Try to kick down the door, the door wins, get slammed on your backside. ]

The doors look too large and heavy to be kicked down. Can you put weight on your foot?

[Sorry Ayabe, he's pushing his way past that hand because he is angry right now. No kind gestures, only Mad.]

I'm not hurt or anything! And I should be able to kick that door down just fine!

[He's actually going to walk over to one of the walls now, and like...well. He puts a foot on the wall like he's trying to start walking on the wall, but obviously that doesn't work.]

What is wrong with this place?! Nothing should be able to affect me like this!

[ There are so many chuunis in this place, holy shit ]

Nothing's wrong with this place. Don't put your shoes up on the walls, you'll get it dirty.

[He's stamping his foot against the wall a few times, to see what Ayabe does.]

[ He's going to stomp over there and take the shoes off Chuuya's feet, that's what he's going to do, he's confiscating the shoes. ]

[And Chuuya is going to kick at Ayabe in response to try and get his foot free.]

Let go, you asshole!

[Somehow his hands are still in his pockets.]

[ He's going to tip Chuuya backwards, don't try and kick while you're already standing on one leg ]

Stop purposely making trouble.

[Don't tell him what to do!!!1

And if he's going down then Ayabe is going with him. He'll try to hook his free leg around whatever he can (the back of Ayabe's knee, for example) to pull Ayabe with him.]

[ DOWN HE GOES with a yell of surprise, and if Ayabe elbows Chuuya in the stomach, it is 100% an accident. ]

[Yeah, and that knee to Ayabe's chin is 100% an accident too.

Though that's about all he'll manage because his stomach ow

time to lay there like a useless log for a bit while he tries to catch his breath.]

[ It's a good thing he doesn't just bite his tongue off and be the day one murder victim. He rolls off Chuuya the moment he's able to, but since he didn't get the air knocked out of him, he takes the advantage and removes one of Chuuya's shoes. It's his now, good bye. ]

Asshole!

[He's going to pull off his other shoe and throw it at Ayabe.]

[ He gets clocked in the back of the head just like he deserves but it's fine

this is his shoe now, both of them are his. ]
