For those of you counting along, you'll find that it's been three days since you've arrived at Master Blue's mansion. On this lovely Monday morning, the weak winter sun shines in through the spotless windows. The curtains in the ballroom have been drawn closed and cannot be moved away from the back wall during the daylight hours. The scent of a hot and delicious breakfast wafts from the direction of the dining hall at 7am, and small creaks and groans in the house urge you to awaken.

Perhaps you're a late riser though. No matter! There's still plenty of food you can make for yourself and ways for you to amuse yourself. Though the decor's been taken down, leftover Valentine's candy remains abundant, and a chilly breeze drifts through the halls. Best of all, all damage inflicted on the house has been repaired. In addition, a new placard has been mounted in the entryway.

As you carry on with your day in the mansion and explore the rooms provided, you may come to find that starting today it will appear as though you've all lost the use of one of your senses. Your vision may have grown dim, or maybe you really can't smell the enticing treats in the dining hall after all. How unfortunate.

Then again, something doesn't seem quite right. Walking through the halls, nothing seems terribly out of place. However, turning the corner or entering a room you will find someone who looks a little too much like yourself behaving in a fairly inappropriate manner. You would never read something so lewd. Who would ever think that you would wear something so pink? These mannerisms may seem innocent to others, but you can't help but disapprove.

Too bad no one else can see them.

Come Monday at noon, you will also find a new surprise. The wooden box with your name on it can now be opened, and a rustling crackle of static can be heard from overhead. Try as you might, you won't be able to find the speakers but this message will play loud and clear for all.

It's still weird. People are better addressed by their names- who they are, rather than what they are.

[ He doesn't notice anything out of the ordinary. As far as he's concerned, everybody here is human, no matter what their profiles say. ]

And Chuuya is glancing away as he shoves his hands in his pockets.]

Yeah yeah, whatever. They'll have the answers anyway. If they work here then they've gotta see stuff we don't.

[ Missile is an honorary human. ]

If they have answers, they're cagey about them. Did you get the chance to talk to them? All I got was that this Master Blue invited us to this event that we RSVP'd a week ago, they had at least all week to prepare and still everything isn't set up and Master Blue isn't anywhere to be seen.

[ He doesn't want to say they're incompetent, but. He wishes they were more on top of things. ]

Yeah, that one girl was playing a game and didn't even want to talk until she was done. I get the feeling they're not actually that helpful. We might have to beat some answers out of 'em.

Do you think that would work? They can't talk if they're unconscious.

[ ...Chuuya can't talk if he's unconscious. The rabbit can at least fight, seeing what happened when Lio tried just that. ]

[Do not knock out Chuuya to get him to stop talking, that's rude.]

Well you don't knock them out, duh. Just bully them a bit. Like for that gamer, tie her up and make her watch while you delete her save files one by one.

Is that bad? Can't she just replay the game again?

[ It'll be fun so it doesn't seem to him like she would mind. In his mind, you have one save file per game and you play games to completion one at a time, so it's not like there's any lost progress except for the most recent game. ]

She can, but do you have any idea how long games are? Even for a short game that's probably 20 hours of progress or more lost. And if it's a long one like [Insert knockoff Skyrim game title here] Then the hours could be in the hundreds.

[ Ayabe stares at him like he has no idea how long games are, making a face at a "short" game of 20 whole hours jfc ]

I... can't really relate. But that sounds terrible and you should try it as a last resort.

[ He won't say no, don't do it, but also. That sounds mean. ]

No, my last resort is kicking people's faces in. But that can be second-to-last resort, I guess.

...You almost kicked my face in before.

[ HIS SPINE but maybe that's just Chuuya being considerate and saving his face at the cost of snapping his spine and crippling him forever. ]

I've been kicking people for eight years now. I can control my kicks.

[kazokun]

[ He looks at Chuuya for a moment, trying to math how old that would make him when he started fighting. Pretty young, but. Well. Ayabe can't say anything about fighting. ]

That makes you better than whoever's trashing the place, I guess.

[There are actually several answers to that question, and none of them are good.]

Who's been doing that anyway?

[kazokun]

[ He shakes his head, because he doesn't know for sure. He sure has his suspicions, though, with all the punch-happy people that exist in this place. Chuuya is also on that list. ]

I don't know. I've heard that people have been getting into fights, but I wasn't there to witness it and I intend to stay out of that sort of thing.

[ Him accumulating bruises on his face over the course of the week ASIDE-- those weren't him getting into fights. ]

The suggestion is that whoever did it was trying to get out of the building, not fighting somebody else, though.
