For those of you counting along, you'll find that it's been three days since you've arrived at Master Blue's mansion. On this lovely Monday morning, the weak winter sun shines in through the spotless windows. The curtains in the ballroom have been drawn closed and cannot be moved away from the back wall during the daylight hours. The scent of a hot and delicious breakfast wafts from the direction of the dining hall at 7am, and small creaks and groans in the house urge you to awaken.

Perhaps you're a late riser though. No matter! There's still plenty of food you can make for yourself and ways for you to amuse yourself. Though the decor's been taken down, leftover Valentine's candy remains abundant, and a chilly breeze drifts through the halls. Best of all, all damage inflicted on the house has been repaired. In addition, a new placard has been mounted in the entryway.

As you carry on with your day in the mansion and explore the rooms provided, you may come to find that starting today it will appear as though you've all lost the use of one of your senses. Your vision may have grown dim, or maybe you really can't smell the enticing treats in the dining hall after all. How unfortunate.

Then again, something doesn't seem quite right. Walking through the halls, nothing seems terribly out of place. However, turning the corner or entering a room you will find someone who looks a little too much like yourself behaving in a fairly inappropriate manner. You would never read something so lewd. Who would ever think that you would wear something so pink? These mannerisms may seem innocent to others, but you can't help but disapprove.

Too bad no one else can see them.

Come Monday at noon, you will also find a new surprise. The wooden box with your name on it can now be opened, and a rustling crackle of static can be heard from overhead. Try as you might, you won't be able to find the speakers but this message will play loud and clear for all.

Is it really? Oo, what does it say?

[ Oh noooo, has nobody read the profiles to Missile yet?? At least the dog is loud and that makes it easier for Ayabe to hear, he will never tell Missile to shut up again. ]

It's information about everybody here. You recognize the people in these pictures, right? This one is yours--

... Sissel and I were the only people there though. How did it end up here? Did someone interview Sissel?

[ Between that quote and the one on his own profile, Ayabe's bothered about it in Missile's stead. ]

That's possible. The words on mine are things I've heard or said, but nobody's interviewed me about it- they shouldn't have those thoughts written here for everybody to see.

[ He hates it! But as long as there's no context and nobody asks, it's innocuous. ]

but, okay. Some of these words aren't as bad as the others, so he goes ahead and chooses the one from the top of his profile: ]

"Do you want to join the student council? You have no right to refuse." ...That was what the student council president said to me last year. I was made to join even though I didn't want to.

[ The fact that it's the header for his profile, though... ehhhhhh. ]

... That sounds kind of mean. Was the president mean to you, Ayabe?

[ like... Missile does things he doesn't want to sometimes, but he does it for the people he loves!!! this student council person doesn't sound very lovable, so far ]

Yeah.

But Ayabe also owes him his life, so idk. There's a trade-off. ]

The president should stop being mean! Being mean doesn't get anything done, or make people happy - it just makes everything harder!

... What's a student council?

[ Preach, little doggy, there are plenty of people here who need to hear it. Ayabe just smiles a little, though, not a real happy one. But it's because the president is always going around smiling, people would say he is kind- he's not a mean person by any means, but a nice person and nice tactics wouldn't have convinced Ayabe in the first place, so he had to be dragged along kicking and screaming for his own good. ]

Do you know what a school is? [ He has no idea how old Miss Kamila and Miss Lynne are, but maybe one of them goes to school. ] Children go there to learn, and the student council is a group of people who watch over them. They make sure that the rules are being followed, that students' concerns are addressed, and that day to day life can proceed as normal. We fix problems.

So they're like... police officers for students? Wow, that sounds really important! And really tough, too! Do you have to work long hours? Oh, do you ever throw anyone into the slammer?

[ he lives with a cop, he only knows cop terms. ]

[ There are so many people he would love to throw into the slammer, just lock them up and never have to see their faces again, but unfortunately he does not have the same power as the police and has very little actual power to abuse. ]

I can write a student up and send them to the teacher's office, and that's sort of like going to jail... but I don't do that sort of thing.

[ What does Ayabe even do on the student council, I have no clue. ]

It's a full time job, though. When I'm not at school, I'm the dorm manager and have to babysit all the students there. [ Ayabes get no breaks ]

Oh no. Let me guess - they're a real handful?

[ he can't imagine handling more than one Miss Kamila... ]

They're a bunch of delinquents.

[ Juvenile delinquents with an emphasis on juvenile. ]

Uh oh. What do you do with them? Do you send them to bed without dinner?

I scold them.

[ He looks them in the eyes and tells them he's disappointed in their behavior. ]

Oh no! That's horrible!!!

[ scolding a little doggy has a different effect than scolding a teenager, probably ]

Yep, it's horrible. It gets most of them to behave, usually.

[ Sometimes. Enough that they stop doing what they're doing, for a couple of days maybe. ]

Do you chase them with brooms, too?!

[ the most srs punishment there is ]

[ He look shook for a moment, before considering this. ]

Yeah, sometimes. If they're making a ruckus in the dorm and I have my broom with me, they're getting chased with the broom.

[ Very scary. Missile knows how it is. ]

[ super scary!!! ]

Wow! You're really the boss of the dorms, aren't you? And the school too! You're so talented, Ayabe!

Does it look like that?

[ He laughs, but it's not a happy laugh, because it's not that at all. Maybe he's the boss of the dorms, but definitely not the school— and in terms of talent he's only good with cooking and cleaning and wrangling children and none of that feels like it really matters. It's all normal work, things expected of him that nobody gives a second glance at. ]
