WEEK ZERO: MINGLE
WEEK ZERO
OCCUPANCY: 36
For those of you counting along, you'll find that it's been three days since you've arrived at Master Blue's mansion. On this lovely Monday morning, the weak winter sun shines in through the spotless windows. The curtains in the ballroom have been drawn closed and cannot be moved away from the back wall during the daylight hours. The scent of a hot and delicious breakfast wafts from the direction of the dining hall at 7am, and small creaks and groans in the house urge you to awaken.
Perhaps you're a late riser though. No matter! There's still plenty of food you can make for yourself and ways for you to amuse yourself. Though the decor's been taken down, leftover Valentine's candy remains abundant, and a chilly breeze drifts through the halls. Best of all, all damage inflicted on the house has been repaired. In addition, a new placard has been mounted in the entryway.
As you carry on with your day in the mansion and explore the rooms provided, you may come to find that starting today it will appear as though you've all lost the use of one of your senses. Your vision may have grown dim, or maybe you really can't smell the enticing treats in the dining hall after all. How unfortunate.
Then again, something doesn't seem quite right. Walking through the halls, nothing seems terribly out of place. However, turning the corner or entering a room you will find someone who looks a little too much like yourself behaving in a fairly inappropriate manner. You would never read something so lewd. Who would ever think that you would wear something so pink? These mannerisms may seem innocent to others, but you can't help but disapprove.
Too bad no one else can see them.
Come Monday at noon, you will also find a new surprise. The wooden box with your name on it can now be opened, and a rustling crackle of static can be heard from overhead. Try as you might, you won't be able to find the speakers but this message will play loud and clear for all.

[ Unless he meant the cockroaches, they should slay the cockroaches but the staff is still... you know. People (will have to confirm) ]
no subject
No? What a surprise.
They certainly have a lot of fans for people who actively praise and follow our kidnapper.
Then how do you suggest we dispose of them? [the cockroaches, not the staff. but feel free misunderstand.]
no subject
[ We're not going to dispose of them!! He also clutches the cockroaches to his chest a bit tighter, but then one of them starts to move and he makes a disgusted noise and-- wants to set it on the counter but that's where they prepare food and so he can NOT.
He will just hold this jar of roaches and suffer. ]
no subject
Then what do you suggest? Jailing them until we wring the answers and secrets of this wretched manor out of them? Torture can be an effective tool.
no subject
We're the ones who are jailed here, not them. Do you think you can beat them? Lio tried.
[ He's not sure about their relative strengths, between Asch and Lio that is, but Peach had warded Lio off without breaking a sweat. ]
no subject
[that gives him momentary pause, and he seems to consider it.]
What happened.
[he's actually pretty interested!!!]
no subject
Peach was able to pin him down and stop him from trying to hit her. It wasn't a long fight- she talked him out of it.
[ But she was able to pin him down while he was in a murderous rage, so that's still something. ]
no subject
But that's...... ugh. He was definitely stronger than Lio, but his roommate was no slouch when it came to no-holds-barred.
He could only hope Lio was going easy on her because she was a girl.]
Did she really talk him out of it? Or did he have no chance?
no subject
[ If they weren't surrounded by so many people telling Lio to cut it out, if Lio had a weapon or his flames back, if he had followed through with the threat instead of backing off, maybe he could have won. There's no way to tell. Asch should just wait until Ayabe's back is turned and then go for one of their throats. ]
no subject
They have to be fallible.
Why else would they take our abilities and belongings away?
no subject
[ He has no abilities to begin with, so at the very least he would have liked to not be in a suit all the time. The shoes pinch his toes, they're hard and terrible. ]
...With all of us together, do you think we can overtake one of them?
[ Better do it while there's still a good number of them alive, but on the other hand, they're liable to punch somebody else in the face with 30+ bodies piled on top of one another. ]
no subject
[that's his working theory, at least.]
We'd have to be working together to take one of them—and that assumes that everyone is on board with the idea, and the other two aren't alerted by it. No. I don't know. If I had my sword...
no subject
[ Maybe nothing as good as a sword, but there are other things than bare hands. There's already two or three others he has in mind who would definitely be on board to take down one of the staff, so maybe they would be able to throw the coup. ]
no subject
[could they tape knives to a broom or something
Asch is clearly thinking seriously about this now, rolling the strategies over in his head.
even though he's BLIND...]
no subject
[ It's fine, Ayabe is confident Asch can kill even if he's blind. If he swings around something sharp wildly enough, he'll catch something, eventually, and that's all you really need to do to hurt somebody. ]
no subject
[hmm]
And any length of wire can garrote someone easily enough.
no subject
With how the place is lit, there must be electrical wire somewhere. Do you know how to use all this?
no subject
[there's a certain chill certainty behind the singular word.]
no subject
That's settled then. We can start planning for something like that, if we aren't let out soon.
no subject
And yourself?
no subject
[ Not that his fists can do anything against a sword or anything like that, but coming from a SOL manga, he's not entirely useless ]
no subject
Do you have a preferred weapon?
no subject
[ Just a long stick, nothing sharp and stabby. Very easy to improvise around here, though, so maybe simplicity is best. ]
I could work with those pool cues, but they'd probably snap.
[ Ten pool cues taped together, maybe. ]
no subject
They seem to bee made of good, solid wood.
no subject
[ He's strong enough with a weapon but not to the extent that he can pry things apart with his bare hands, please ]
