WEEK SIX: MINGLE
WEEK SIX
OCCUPANCY: . . .
Rise and shine, little monsters. A new week is waiting just for you. The events of yesterday may have been hard to stomach, but time heals all wounds, after all. The damages the house has incurred over the last week have been reverted and the staff is hard at work fulfilling their roles in this mansion. A piping hot breakfast is served in the dining room promptly at 7am, every square inch of floor and furniture has been cleaned spotless, and Pumpkin is...probably around tending to the animals outside. As you exit your rooms on this lovely morning...
...a silence lays over the house.
For anyone who ventures into the ballroom, a new change may become apparent. Should you choose to look at the plaques, those of the dead have gone blank. The images that were once there have been covered, though the information is still there.
Additionally, the house rules have been removed.
Odd, isn't it? Where are those strange effects you've grown accustom to over the last several weeks in this house? Your body is as it should be (except for those of you who have lost limbs...you know who you are...), your mind is sound and stable, and there are no strange urges or instincts arising within you.
The mansion is in prime condition. All of the rooms (except for Master Blue's and the servants' quarters) are unlocked, and nothing seems out of place. Perhaps you'll have a chance to relax this morning?
Well, it was nice while it lasted anyway. Come Monday at noon a rustling crackle of static can be heard from overhead. Try as you might, you won't be able to find the speakers but a message will play loud and clear for all.

To make the top of the jump, he's going to do his best to aim down, but the weight is most likely really off from what he's used to. Doing his best, but fully expecting that bike to land in a heap at the top, tipping over to the side and skidding. Not in the cool Akira slide way either.]
no subject
Glancing over at the others, rushing over.]
Hey, are you guys okay? That crash was nasty!
[How many tags can I go before he even acts noticeably different. Let's find out.]
no subject
... okay, but she's fucking amped!!! let's GO!!! ]
Holy shit, that was awesome! [ she says, grinning despite the shallow cut. ] I'm - fine, probably? A-Sang, are you good? Lio!
[ are there still monsters? she's gonna fucking beat the shit out of some monsters!! watch her adjust her leather jacket and smack her fists together as she makes her way to the bike and the side of the building. ]
no subject
but either way, he's just sprawled on the roof, pushing himself up with a groan. ow.]
I am not getting back on that thing-- whatever happened to a perfectly good sword, they don't do this-!
[he's going to hang back a bit because he is definitely scuffed up from that, fan in one hand-- and he's pulling the pipe out of his sleeve as well, looking it over curiously. a little suspiciously. trying to get an indication of what it might do, more or less.]
no subject
They're all a little damaged now, but they can take a breather. The rain somehow seems less this high up, and the smokey scent is more pungent and wafting from the north. Galo's doing his best in these trying times, at least, and NHS...tried his best. Unfortunately, he won't be able to tell anything about the pipe by looking at it. It might need further investigation.
For now though, thunder rumbles in the clouds above and they can either jump from building to building across the city...or they can find an alternate route. The red of the moon grows a bit brighter though. Huh. It wasn't that close before, was it?]
no subject
[He'll just check in on him. The rest of you are fine, suck it. And taking a second to observe the city for a second, before he just digs in his jacket pocket. He took that Blue Eyes White Dragon card, so he's really really hoping . . . this shit just summons a dragon. He doesn't know why he believes that, exactly, just that it seems like the sort of thing that would happen here. And he really wants it. Flipping it over, back and forth.]
How the hell does this thing work . . . Blue Eyes White Dragon?
no subject
Doesn't look like anybody's hurt.
[Rubbing his head, though, because he really does feel pretty confused.]
You can't have my sword, but I'll . . . I'll help you guys out, okay? Where are you trying to go?
no subject
she looks over her shoulder. ]
... Wait, what? What do you mean? [ a beat. ] Did he hit his head or something?
no subject
[like, he's still watching what happens with this card of lio's too, but he's glancing between that and galo, frowning a little.]
If he did, he still seems perfectly functional otherwise...
[he's fine? he's fine, for now.]
no subject
The roof's about to get a little crowded though as the card sparks and sputters, crumbling into ash as it's soon replaced by a giant white dragon, blue eyes giving the quartet a steely glance before it roars loudly. It's almost enough to knock them off of the roof entirely, and its tail whips as it begins to stalk forward. Someone's ready for a fight and not too happy about being summoned by some strangers.
Ally? Or betray?]
no subject
Keep an eye on him. We'll use the shackles if we need to.
[Anyway, yeah the burning does literally nothing? he doesn't even seem to notice it until the card just turns to ash. anyway, i know this is supposed to be like, incredibly dangerous, but so far this is truly the raddest shit on earth. When the dragon roars, he's pushed back a bit, but he crosses his arms and widens his stance after a moment - staring down the dragon right back. There's a bit of a Nerd Sparkle in his eyes, because he is living right now. I think I mentioned something in the app about how Lio just says almost everything like he's being cut for a Marvel movie trailer wham line? This is one of those moments.
Holding out a hand, lighting that tiny bit of the Burnish fire he can summon in the palm.]
Will you help us?
[obviously he respects this dragon's autonomy.]
no subject
[He's trying to explain what's up to these weirdos who are talking about shackling him or something. He didn't hit his head, he's just kind of confused?
And then a big dragon shows up! He's got the sword out, but Lio starts talking to it instead. This truly is the raddest shit on earth? Lio is incredible. Whether or not the dragon agrees, Galo is won over.]
no subject
she doesn't exactly wince at the roaring, because she's used to monsters screaming in her face, and she also is very much running on Go Juice from those orbs and this jacket. she moves right up, standing a bit behind lio to face the dragon, grinning up at it.
she's like, super confident just asking it to help will do it. ]
no subject
like, the only other thing he can think of is offering it food and all he's got is the pudding phoenix gave him earlier. he does not think dragons eat pudding.
so he's just hanging out behind beau, hiding behind her a little just in case. hello dragon, they're not malicious, please help.]
no subject
...fellow...dragon?
It tries to roar again but it's less threatening this time as it thinks things over, looking at the four of them and stomping its feet on the ground. But it doesn't seem to want to attack anymore. Help is...a bit of a stretch! But at least it's considering standing still. Sure. It'll help.]
no subject
I am sorry someone confined you to a . . . piece of paper trash. You deserve your freedom.
[Lio points to the castle in the sky, to show the dragon.]
We need to go there. Can you take us?
[then turning to the rest of the group to (loudly) whisper]
Give it something.
no subject
He digs around in his pockets to see if he has something to offer the dragon. Let's see. Dice, a Powerline Poster, and - aha! A piece of paper trash.
He'll hold it out to the dragon.]
Please help him! You can have this extremely cool art I found to show that we're working together.
no subject
If you take us, you can have whatever treasure is up there, too. [ beau says, digging around in her bag. nhs has pudding but so does she! she'll offer it. ]
no subject
[he would absolutely help fight with a dragon, if he has to fight at all? much better than the motorcycle.
the dragon gets, uh, additional pudding because the rest of his stuff is all weaponry etc and he is keeping that, thank you.]
no subject
...and curious about the pudding. Don't mind it stomping its way over to Beau and NHS to immediately snatch the pudding out of their hands. It considers the pudding, mouth opening and closing before it roars in understanding and...leans down, tail swishing.
Hurry up and get on before it leaves. Just direct where it's going.]
no subject
climbing on!!! And, to the dragon:]
Ah-- Don't forget the motorcycle.
no subject
So . . . can one of you guys catch me up on what we're trying to do?
no subject
There's a big fucking evil thing up in that castle, and we gotta kill it or at least hurt it so that we can make sure our friends get to go home. [ beau tells galo, squeezing his hand. ]
Stick close and help us fight shit until we can remind you who you are. [ she's not too worried, it'll... be okay probably. ]
no subject
[he lets beau and galo help him up onto the dragon, which, let's be honest, he needs the help...
he doesn't Want to but he's sticking the pipe in his mouth for a sec to free up his hand. gross gross gross. the dragon gets an appreciative little pat once he's settled, very good dragon.]
no subject
The pipe, unfortunately, also transforms into a small dagger! I hope NHS enjoys holding the handle in his teeth.
As they fly, the dragon will dodge bolts of lightning, but it may need help directing where to go. Will you head for the castle directly, or will you try somewhere else first?]
